Amrutha Balli / Guduchi / Giloy / Tinospora cordifolia is a well know Ayurvedic herb used for various disorders. It pacifies Tridosha i.e, Vata, Pitta and Kapha. It is useful in weight loss, boost immunity, supports functioning of liver and kidneys, supports joints and many more.

Ingredients:
- Tender Giloy leaves – 1 fist
- Pepper – 8-10 grains
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
- Buttermilk – 3 cups
- Salt – to taste
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Red chilli – 2-3
- Jeera – 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Wash and drain the leaves, keep it aside.
- Fry them in a pan, add cumin seeds to it and fry in low flame.
- Grind the leaves, pepper, coconut making it a soft paste by adding little water. Transfer it to a serving bowl.
- Add buttermilk to it and salt to taste. Mix well
- Add ghee to a pan and then add mustard, red chilli and jeera in low flame. Pour it on buttermilk for tempering.
Amrutha Thambuli is now ready to serve!
